Pint-Sized Quarterback

One of our very own, Andrew Robison, has been all over the news lately!  The 12 year old made history in his Varsity football game this past weekend.  The starting quarterback got injured in the game, giving Andrew a chance to show his leadership and football skills!  Since the game, Andrew’s story has been covered on many news stations and sports blogs.

Crud Day

This past Sunday, we spent the afternoon playing in the mud and getting dirty!  There is no better way to kick off the year than playing tug of war and throwing pounds of flour at each other in the mud!  We even added some new games this year which involved protecting our 7th graders from the mud and searching for crazy objects in the mud.

New Orleans

On June 15 the rising seniors hopped on a train to New Orleans for a weekend of leadership training and fellowship. On Sunday, the rest of the senior high youth joined them! The group worked hard all week on things from painting in schools, cleaning our horse stalls, and demoing a house ravaged by a kitchen fire! There were hot days and humid nights, but the youth and leaders had a blast! Evenings held some fun games and meaningful worship time, as well as grade-level discussion time. On Thursday night the group rocked out to some New Orleans jams and bowled at the local Rock-n-Bowl!
